Once again the Hehir Braddy set off from Narrogin across the expanse of Australia on its 9th venture across the continent. This time it did not make it all the way under its own power, breaking a crank. It was put on the trailer for the final stretch with Brian's Jupiter finishing the journey. Bush telegraph found a spare engine and this was promptly fitted in Armidale before the start of the Rally to make up the compliment of 50 Jowetts at the 50th Anniversary of the JCCA.
