Selector change link

After a great deal of sweat and aggravation, I finally succeeded in disconnecting the gear selector link and the gear change link from the gearbox levers. They hadn't been off for a very long time, and that hole in the floor is none too big!! The gear change link socket assembly came apart alright in the end, unfortunately the small ball joint (ND2591 ?)at the end of the selector change link (50378) broke off - the ball was seized in the socket and obviously had been for some time and the rod was fatigued at the joint. Not the end of the world as I can soon effect a repair, but the ball and socket joint is in bad condition and I would rather fit a new one. Are these or their replacement available, any comment or sugestions from anyone ?
