Car Covers

Post by David Morris »

Hi Rob,

I bought mine from the Bristol Classic Car autojumble a year or so ago. The same company are there every year, and also at Beaulieu Autojumble, plus others as well, I expect. They sell an indoor cotton cover which is nice and soft and, from memory, costs about £35 for the size to fit the Javelin.

I have tried looking at the Show Guide from this year's show, and I believe the company are shown in the plan of the show as 'QCC' . This may stand for Quality Car Covers? Unfortunately, there are no contact details in the guide. However, Helen Norcombe in the organisers office in Bristol might be able to give you a phone number. Her number is 0117-907-1000.

I hope this helps.

All the best,

David Morris

Car covers

Hi Rob.
There's an advert for thick, pure cotton car covers in the latest edition of the Practical Classics mag, and no doubt in others too. Seem a little more expensive than Dave quotes though.
