Pedal pads
The brake and clutch pedal pads are worn out on my 10/4 neither Jowett spares or Bill Lock are able to supply ,does anyone know what other vehicle would use the same .or where I could find a compatible part
have just purchased a javilin and will need all the help i can get

You can just use some rubber (perhaps a shoe heel) that is a bit bigger than the pedal and stick it on with some Gorilla glue. Clamp all around with 4 clamps to get the curve. Then trim to size.

This is a problem I have also encountered.
I want to preserve what remains of the 'Light JOWETT Cars' logo cast into the faces of the pedals.
There were very perished rubbers on them when I acquired the car in 1966. They had a series of concentric grooves in the face and the word DUNLOP in very small font in a circular area at the centre.
The pedal surfaces are rectangular, about 2" by 3" and I have so far been unable to find rubbers that either fit or could be adapted.
I have made a couple of covers using left-overs from the ribbed sheet I used to replace the running board covers, with strips attached round the edges with a PU body adhesive. These seem to work OK but it would be nice to get originals (if they are not perished!) or at least modern ones that actually fit.
I suspect that some commercial or industrial applications might offer a solution.
Any ideas out there?
