Jupiter in Portugal

Post by AmilcarJohn »

The PreWarCar website has this rather wonderful Salmson Grand Sport for sale in Portugal, which I was drooling over when I spotted a Jupiter in the background of the pictures:

Does anyone know the car? It seems to be right-hand-drive and to have rather more louvres than usual in the bonnet (I expect due to the pleasantly-warm climate). Could it be the one that did well in local competitions in period?

Nice Salmson! If it's what I'm looking at, it looks more like an Aston Martin DB2 convertible - but I might be wrong.

I know of several Jupiters in Portugal and at least one restored Jupiter with green bodywork
