CHRISTMAS GREETINGS FOR 2017

Post by Tony Fearn »

This of course is for all the Jowett fraternity, but especially for all you pre-war enthusiasts out there, who in the past, (but perhaps not now - due to whatever circumstance) used to send greetings for the Festive Season via this Forum.

Perhaps all Jowett Car Club members would like to reply, whatever Jowett(s) you run, to show you're still out there!!!

Jorma and Maikki in Finland have already sent me an email wishing the Fearns, (and probably many other Jowetteers) a Merry Christmas, so perhaps you may wish to do the same to all the Forum members.

Anyway, here goes:-

A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL JOWETT FRIENDS, WHERE-EVER IN THE WORLD.

Tony and Hilary Fearn.

Sorry it's late (been very busy!). A Merry Christmas to you, Tony, and all the members, especially all you vintage and pre-war owners out there. Looking forward to meeting up with you all at Harrogate!
Best Wishes,
Ken Rogers and family.

All the very best for Christmas and the New Year Tony (and all the Jowett owners)

I promise I'll do my best in 2018 to find at least one event that doesn't clash with school holidays etc to come and meet you and the rest of the folks who have helped out over the last couple of years

From Amy and I gorging ourselves at Goodwood. Yesterday we started with sharing champers with Emilie at the Kennels, followed by delicious smoked salmon, beef and ham sandwiches , cakes and devonshire cream , jam and scones to the sound of a three piece band. Then in the evening six courses of heavenly cuisine before a midnight mass in the Priory celebrated with Lord March.
Perhaps a wander around the estate after opening the presents to make some room for Christmas day fare.

Happy New Year to all! Did anyone else have their Jowett out over the festive period? I didn’t have much spare time, but today took out the Long Two for its first decent run in my ownership. It went like a dream and was reving much more freely after 20 miles or so. The Jupiter remains sulking in the garage awaiting repair!
