Nick Finburg at Classic Autos collared me in the village and asked if I owned the car. He seems to think it might get close to it in today's market. After all it has actual racing history at Le Mans and is UNIQUE. It has also been the subject of some dedicated and faithful reconstruction over many years (including some by Nick's dad) with a lot of luck involved in unearthing parts. Nick races jags on the classic international circuit and is very successful.
We shall see if it sells and for what price.

I don't wish to discredit the car for what it is or the history it carries but when compared to what other unique cars with race history etc that you can purchase in this price bracket or less then it's always going to get overlooked - put a sensible price on it and it stands a chance of ending up in a stable where it will be cherished.
