A few months ago, I posted in the Jupiter section that the remnants of a Jupiter had been found in upstate New York. The seller has decided not to sell parts, but the entire lot. The useful parts appear to be RHD steering rack, shifter assy, steering wheel/column, bonnet assembly, rear body skin/subframe, one rear wing, rear axle minus drums, ft suspension minus drums, some bonnet trim and according to the seller, the chassis. Sorry, I can't state definitively at this point the condition of these parts, despite the sellers claim that everything is solid.
It is located about as far from my location as possible within the US of A, so transport costs are a killer.
One of the OZ guys is willing to buy in for the rear bodywork, but not the rest of the car. I could use some spares for the shelves (and future Jupiter owners), but really don't have the space or use for a chassis.
If anyone is interested in some of the bits, please contact me.
It just might be too far away and too few useful parts to make this viable. On the other hand, what would be the cost to reproduce a Jupiter bonnet?
Cheers,
Scott

Well, that shows as a home game, so your tickets might be good. Pop on over and I'll meet you at the game, then we'll rent a truck and do a road trip from NY to Los Angeles.

Re: Salvaging what is left of a Jupiter
September 16th is week after Goodwood which would be a challenge...but more here http://www.premiershiprugby.com/usa
I know I did 26000 miles to see a rugby match in NZ in July so adding a road trip on the end is something different. Is it worth it though with flights, van hire + gas for what is, as yet, an unknown purchase?

With risk of being greedy , how much for the lot?
If body sold, I need a lot of chassis bits ,
