Dear Keith
I am sorry to have to inform you that Gordon passed away on the evening of Wed 12th April.
He spent his last few weeks in a nursing home, but he got his wish to stay at home for as long as possible. It was only during the last month of his life that he became so frail he needed the extra care.
I cared for him every day up to the point when he needed to go into the nursing home, and he was still the same old Gordon telling stories and making people laugh at his adventures.
Thank you for the concern you showed and I think you will agree that he will be missed
