London - Brighton HCVC run, 7th May

Following the note in Jowetteer for the Southern Section events I took my newly completed Long Four to this year's L-B HCVC run, attending the usual suggested meeting point at the Black Lion Patcham (only it isn't now the Black Lion).

Waited from 10.00 to 12.00 but no other company, BUT I did see the Bradford carrying Roger and Lizzie Learmonth, bobbling very happily on its way.

Did anyone go the the other occasional meeting point at Staplefield?

A bit disappointing as there are usually half a dozen or so stalwarts for these events )the other one being the VCC Emancipation Run in November).

There is a Classic show at Newhaven Fort on the 21st.

Any Takers?
The devil is in the detail!
