Starter motor wanted for D7/CA/engine

Post by 1942kemp1942 »

I am rebuilding a CA Bradford engine I saved from an Edinburgh scrapyard last year. It is missing it's Starter Motor. Have advertised three times in the Jowetteer with no success. Can anyone help ?. Starter will have either 255901 or 25536 stamped on the body. Late pre-war used the same starter.

Hi Ian.
Had a look through my starters last night. Sorry, none of them had either number stamped on the case.
I trust you've already contacted JCS.
Tony.
