Use the parts books in the technical library or Parts book Jav/Jup to help describe any parts for sale.
Why not sell or exchange those parts in your shed, so that we can have more successes like Alan Bartlett's Classic Car of the Year 2012.

Jav project

Post by Forumadmin »

We have been offered a Javelin which is fairly sound although the rebuild has stalled for a couple of years. We did take some photos. They are here THIS LINK NO LONGER WORKS! .

This is the message I had from Julian Vincent julianbanjos@mac.com  just before the Goodwood Revival who asked the club to try to find someone to continue the project. He is keen to move the car on.
"I’ve had a word with Neil Haworth, the guy who’s been working on the Jav. I suggest you phone him to sort out collection from Aldermaston, Hampshire. Tel.  01189 713815. He can tell you all the work that’s been done it (quite a bit, actually). All the suspension and other parts are in his workshop. The engine is apparently fine. It may well be rather mucky (i.e. oily, etc) but I was never worried about such niceties - I occasionally cleaned it, but I’d’ve spent an awful lot of time just cleaning it and I had other things to do. It was, after all, my everyday car. And I have a new radiator at home, amongst other things.
Neil works a longish day, M-F and Saturday morning .He’s a very nice and helpful person, and can arrange for the car to be lifted onto a standard car transporter. But you should phone him to get all the details."
