Afternoon All
I'm trying to track down a Jowett Javellin with the reg GKY 256. My dad's stepdad Bill Robinson who was my Granddad, Poppa as we called him, raced this with Mr Ellison in the 1951 Monte Carlo rally. I believe the came 6th overall and won their class. I think the last owner I can find was in Ulverston owned by a second name Squire.
It would be amazing to find this car if it's still around.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: GKY 256 1951 Monte Carlo Bill Robinson
Bill Robinson and Bob Ellison raced a Jupiter GKY256, not a Javelin.
According to Ed Nankivell's book, the car was sold in 1953 and went abroad, possibly went to Malaya, so unlikely to survive.
