This looks very much like the cap on some early pre-war Jowett 7hp saloons, and seems to be in very good condition from the photos.
You'll need to know the dimensions, as some of the Austin 7s had similar, smaller caps.

Wow, that looks very grand! I contacted the seller about the cap on ebay and unfortunately it is the smaller Austin 7 variety ie 2.25 inches overall diameter.
