Javelin in wreckers yard.

Post by David Kemp »

I was on a train today & passed a wreckers yard at Carseldine in Brisbane QLD. On the top of a pile of old cars from the seventies was a Jowett Javelin, it is minus the front panels & I think the engine , but still has wheels & body rear of front scuttle. If any Brisbane people are after parts they might be worth contacting. I have been past this yard many times & never seen it before.
Good memories of Bradfords.

These are photos of the car in Kelly's wreckers. They have had the car for about a year. It is an early hydro/mechanical car.
The best part is the wheels are very clean & rust free.

Just spoke to Kelly's , the Javelin is no more, they sent it to scrap to clean up yard. Sad to think 60 year old machines are still being scrapped.
