This link should take any interested parties to the above on ebay. The vendor seems to want £450 upwards. I don't know him in any way nor the item. The enthusiasts should get a shot at it is my view.

chassis on eBay
I think the same chassis has been re-listed a couple of times on eBay since the £450 asking price. £200 reserve first time, then £100 second time. As far as I remember there were no bids.
Now then. I also have a c1932 chassis frame in a garage which I don't suppose I will ever get around to making up as I have yet to complete the 1933 'Flying Fox' I've been playing with for the last 20 years or so.
(I have a photo of Bob Mercer and myself giving the thumbs up sign at the first start up of the re-conditioned engine in 1991!!!) It's progressed somewhat since then, but is still not yet finished.
So, if anyone wishes to start on the long road to own a pre-war Jowett, come and have a look at this chassis. It won't be anymore than £50 if it's collected.
Tony.

Trademe in NZ is the equivient as Ebay.
We get the odd thing poping up here , glass, manuals, even club bumper badges...and often at prices well in ecess of what they can be brought off the club..
Many of us also have our own spares sheds...another member wants something ....often "just take it, have several of them"
The sad part is, since the sellers are greedy, and dont sell, these parts, eventually get dumped.
I posted along these lines for a seller who had Bradford Glass, a while back...Items got relisted several times...havnt seen them for a while.
I wonder if he ever contacted the Club to dispose of them or dumped them.
Shame really.
