This one's for Bob Lintott.
My wife Hilary has a long-time lady friend whose cousin (90 years old) used to have a Javelin quite a number of years ago. He wonders if it is still around, but can only remember part of the registration number ... EHU ???
I can't seem to find the last vehicle register that the Club produced, so any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tony.

Re: Javelin EKU ...
EHU is not in the current Javelin register of cars of MEMBERS known by Eden. Suggest he is asked about his non-member and scrapped record.

Re: Javelin EKU ...
Well, EHU is a Bristol registration starting in November 1937, EKU is of course a Bradford series ,starting in September 1946, not sure for how long , but FKU started in May 1948. The earliest Javelin in the record is D8PA13, HLJ 299, registered on 20 March 1948 so it is possible there could have been a Javelin registered EKU xxx in early 1948. Does the informant have any idea of dates , location etc ? Bob

Re: Javelin EKU ...
I've transferred this to the Bradford section as the gentleman has remembered that it was a Bradford van and not a Jowett Javelin, and has supplied much more detail.
