Jowett Javelin Restoration (Spain)

Post by Moises Jr. »

Hi all, the project is running faster thanks to the tireless work of my father.

The interior of the Javelin is well advanced as you can see.

Hi again.

The restoration process is progressing well, after putting the front glass, adjusted body parts and tightened correctly, there were only problems with the right front door. The next thing is to get the engine test stand and install it in the car. For the upholstery of the car body and the final details will be time later. We had problems with the rubber insulating doors, not close well.

Saludos!

Sounds about right! Well done!

Just a small point - should the reversing light be on when going forwards?

Is the gearbox on back to front?! (not really!)
The devil is in the detail!

Nothing to do, no way, we had a small electrical problem, we caught while performing the video. It's all fixed.

I think the reverse light is not connected to the gearbox, is activated by a switch regardless of the gear selected, no?
