Bob - Unfortunately the build date for the car is the third week in January according to the factory records - none the less at least it goes on to historic tax staus next year

A friend today said he had the same problem taxing and phoned the ministry to be told that he had to wait until the MOT ran out! Converse logic methinks. Mine was actually going to run out today. Anyhow since I do not trust computer programmers or statements from the ministry, I went down the Post Office and it took less than a minute to get the required circular piece of paper.

The tax disc from the SC blew out the window in Wales and the system did not complain when I ordered another. It just warned me the disc would start at the beginning of the month. So I wonder how many you can order before the system thinks 'hang on a minute' ...

C hris, pity about the factory records! Historic status , rather like a bus pass we all get in time . regards Bob
