I can add another to the list, though it is barely started yet (house move, new kitchen etc to blame!!). It is HVD 28, no E2PD14208ED, built in 1952 and registered in February 1953 to The Lanarkshire Welding Company, Wishaw. It has been with a fellow member in Scotland since the 60's and off the road since 1987. The body is reasonable; the interior good/fair and the engine has been stripped for measurement - all looking promising. Possible new garage also being considered before the bulk of the restoration continues. Time is a big issue! :-)

David, we have been trying to contact you with regards to the Javelin and maybe another trip down to the South West of Scotland.
Have you changed your e-mail address ?

Any chance you can make contact either phone or e-mail.. even send a PM.

Cheers

Richard,

I have been following the posts on the Cars & Parts section and would just like to add my welcome to the Jowett Car Club. I look forward to reading about your restoration. I am sure that the club can provide a better history than I can, but I do have a note in my personal records that it spend a considerable length of time owned by someone called A.W. Simmonds and back in 1991 was maroon.
