Whilst clearing out some papers I found this scribbled note from Ben Shaw who previously owned XMG 258.
I wondered why the engine was so good. It had been balanced by Jack Brabham :shock: That is why it revved to 7000rpm.
An amazing story and shows what care Ben went to to get the last bit of power out of the car.
