you could make a replica short 4 body as per pic aand a detacheable 'hard top' on the lines of a shorter version of the upper parts of the 1927 greenhouse saloon .

Yes good idea. Lots of work to build a body from scratch though.
But yes, the ideal would be a short wheelbased saloon. Are there many light 4 cars except for the Shuttleworth car?
Sad to notice its lost its registration number or have I got my wires crossed?
May otherwise fit a hard top to KP196, then chuck it away as the children grow up.
