Had to chuckle at the bit at the bottom...
the "personal experience "part .
It is from a 15 yrs old perspective....nothing has changed in 50 yrs, my teenagers say damn near the same thing today about ours...thu it starts everytime, and with locktite on the body screws (bit of modern techonlogy lol) etc it doesnt flex and rattle, and the rebuilt brakes/steering are as good as any other car that is not power assited...according to A certified NZ WoF inspector...so I suspect , as was the case back in those days, they where driven till stopped then fixed lol
And the pic of the Bradford, that came up for auction a while back, went for a real high price, nearly 2x market value...the word was the guy wanted regardles of what it cost...sentimental reasons...I went to about a grand over market price and stoped....not cause of the price, but would have got growled by the wife using my full name....I think we all know what that means lol
Classic Driver.
