I have recently came across an original instruction book for a 7.17 hp Jowett Light Car registration SW 1603. My father and his grandfather used to run a garage in South West Scotland and the book must have came from there.
It would be good to try and connect the book with the original car and from number plate searches online it appears that the car is still in circulation.
Therefore my first attempt was to contact yourselves to see if the owner of this car is a member of your club. Would you be able to check and pass on my email address to them if they are, or advise if they are not registered with you.
Thanks and Regards
Frazer Milligan.

Re: registration SW 1603
SW 1603 is still in existence and has been in pieces for 40+ years. I visited the owner who was endevouring to restore the car then, about 15 years ago, and has passed away since. It was a kit of parts and chassis but to hear the handbook was also in existence is amazing!
