Can you help?
Hello you may be able to help, a recently departed friend owns the car it was orinally owned by David fox of Dursley glos. I think he would have preffered the car to be bought by one of your members. As it is rotting away in his garden i have tried but can't start it. If you can help i would be very gratefull yours sincerely

Re: Can you help?
Was this David Fox, the one-time Club Official (Historian I think)?
If so, the vehicle may be of historic interest as well as simply being a Bradford.
Where is it actually located now , still in Dursley?
Does anyone know anything about its' recent history?
I think i am too far away to be of direct help.

David was a very, very good friend to many Jowetteers, as was evident by the number of us that attended his funeral.Forumadmin wrote:Yes, it would be the long term JCC printer?
I feel that the above 'sentiment' is rather brusque.
Tony.

Re: Can you help?
Sorry if the correction to Davd's involvement with the club, which was extensive, and question appears brusque. It was not meant to be. I hope we can fill in some of the history of the car that Ian requests.
Anyway back to the point, can we help Mr Temple?

Re: Can you help?
Hi Craig,
I do not know if you have any offers of help or what you have tried or what you know about coaxing cars into action. But the most likely causes are petrol older than two months or not a fully charged battery. Buy a can of Easystart and get help squirting it into the carb inlet whilst starting the engine. Secondly take off a plug lead and see if you get a spark when turning the engine..
Also sent by email to Craig since I have not seen a response to the email sent to the Bradford Registrar from which this topic was started or if any of you have emailed Craig using the email at the start of this topic.
