For those in the know this will be simple I'm sure. What happened to Jowett Engineering Ltd when it got swallowed up in BAE. I did a search of the companies register and there is no reference. Whilst looking though I did find Jowett Javelin Ltd Which seems to sell pet food and Jowett Jupiter Ltd which appears to sell very little.
The club may indeed own this in the same way it owns Jowett Cars Ltd (I think).
Just interested, I have no intentions of rushing out to register it in my name but the Club may want to!
Limited Company

We are currently looking at redoing the website to reflect the status change, so any comments will be welcome on how you would like it organised and presented. Of course, help to do parts of the site would also be welcome.
Jowett.org is there to present a short overview of the club to non-members, encourage them to join and be able to contact people. We need all club officers to be contactable.
Jowett.net is organised into sections that reflect the major areas of interest. There are overlap and historical inconsistencies caused by changes of mind throughout jowett.net's long life. A revamp of the site should try to remove these.
The history section should record all we know about the history of Jowetts. The library section is there to provide an accessible repository of all our librarian now holds. The parts section should contain all the manuals and could contain a stock and price list of parts available from ALL sources. It should also suggest alternative parts and modifications. Technical articles also need to be organised and perhaps pulled from JowettTalk. The Contribution section is a web site for each member. I would like to develop the magazine section as a record of what has happened in the club. The other sections currently on jowett.net can probably be subsumed.
Any thoughts please and offers of help. Note, you do not need to be web or computer literate to assist.
