Jupiter photo

Post by Robin Fairservice »

Searching in old photos I found a picture of a Jupiter at Brands Hatch in May 1989. The licence number was LBY 254, and from a 1996 Register it belongs to Frank Woolley. I have scanned it and would send it on to him if he has an E mail address.

Put on the JowettGallery, Robin.
Frank can pick it up from there.
I will contact him!
He sometimes comes on Skype; so you can chat with him.

Another Jupiter photo

Post by Leo Bolter »

A fellow LE Velocette forum member sent me this photo several months ago when he discovered that I was involved in Jowetts, and specifically Jupiters.

His comment was:
"Hi from France!
I like Jowet cars, they are the perfect Noddy car!!
An retired English, who live around (here) own this one in correct condition."

I wonder where, and at what event, the picture was snapped.

I see it has the "right" badge on the grill :D . . . so I suppose the car's well known to those who are in the know :D , but are any of the backs of the other car viewers recognised? What's the other car?

Image

There's a 2mb (108 x 81cm) image file available for the asking . . .

Cheers.
Leo.
