I do remember finding the old piece with the cork around some where but for the life of me cannot think where it ended up, So instead I do have some piano wire which should do the trick. Any ideas on the size of the cork block on the bottom?

Hello Alan.

90mm long, 33mm wide, 15mm thick.

See my post of Wed. 12 March 2008 below to see how wire fits. The bends in the cork keep the long part vertical.

It's a bit difficult to bend the springy piano wire if I remember correctly.

Regards,

Tony.
