Javelin vs M25
Unsure who's car it was - but a very smart maroon Javelin was making steady progress around the M25 by the side of Heathrow (Junction 15) - clockwise at 19:45 hours tonight - brave attempt on this reach of the M25 in the dark - You need your wits about you here what with all the left hand drive artics and their blindspots, and the endless charge of the idiot drivers !

Hi Chris,
If the Jav had original rear lights, then the driver must have a death wish. I'll bet they can only be seen from 50 yards if you are high up in a 40 tonne artic travelling at the regulation top speed for such vehicles (- ?about 60 mph).
I have a JCC friend who delivered a Pre-war Morris, (fide et fortitudine), from Yorkshire to the Liverpool area via the M62 at peak time! He said the wagon wheels were above his head, and that his top speed was around 40mph on the flat.

Fortunately he's still with us!
