Hi all ,when my Bradford utility details were transferred to the new style log book by the previous owner it has been recorded under body type as saloon ,does anyone know if this will give me problems if I decide to change to a custom built pick up

Do some research on Google or ask MOT man.
Also check with insurance.
Did it have windows in the van side panels?

Because it had side windows it was not classed as a commercial and so would pay more road tax.
Doing any modification to a vehicle has to be declared during insurance application.
SInce the car does not require an MOT there should be no problem but legally I think you should get special vehicle approval.

It is possible to change body type on V5's as long as the chassis is unmodified.
