Many thanks Chris - I will be having a chat with him on Monday rather than disturb him over the weekend. Looks like a well established business with good cars so may well be worth spending a top price. Do you have any experience of them?
Best wishes
Chris

Javelins - I have owned one for the last 10 years - they are a much underrated / undervalued car - I have also restored several of them for clients - in fact just completed one and the next one arrived in the workshop an hour ago - they rarely come up for sale privately in the market - the vast majority of Javelin owners accept them exactly for what they are - a very comfortable, much advanced car of its era - with attractive styling - and a very different drive train that separates it well from everything else - Needless to say fully supported by an excellent owners club - please don't hesitate to ask if you require any further information
Here is our own Javelin

Also, very interested in a Javelin, unfortunately just missed out on the one on eBay recently.
Been searching for one for a year or so and they don't come up very often!
Being an avid car fan, that grew up in Idle, would be nice to have a car that was also from this area.
Not after something pristine or concourse as i want to drive it, ideally through the Yorkshire Dales.

Thank you to everyone who responded, and I am pleased to say I am now the proud owner of a Javelin which will be with me next week. I will now join the club

Chris - Welcome to Jowett Javelin ownership - they are fantastic cars - probably just turning the corner of others starting to realise just how nice a car they are to own & drive - hopefully catch up with you at a club event at some stage - whereabouts in the country are you based ? - Chris

I bought my Javelin just to have the spares for a Jupiter I planned on restoring. Turned out the only thing missing was a door handle. 31 years later, it has carried me (and others) across the United States and all the way to the Arctic Circle in Alaska. And back! Sure makes for some great stories. Welcome to owning a great car.

Hello Chris,
Although this is the quieter part of the geographically large East Anglian section of the JCC there are a few members local to you. I am up near Cromer, though I have relatives in Norwich so have been known to venture out of the village. When you join the club you should be able to access my details or you can pm me if you like. Be great to meet up.
Nick

Excellent - thanks Nick, look forward to meeting you once we are allowed to! My house is at Salhouse Station on the Bittern Line so we are not too far apart
Best Wishes
Chris

Oh right! I'm a short walk from Gunton station! Not much use now what with social distancing. I've gone off trains a bit.
