I seek any information about any Jupiter in Hungary (I will visit Budapest shortly). There was one previously in the UK, changing hands ? twice in Holland, then went to Hungary, but where is this Jupiter now ? I seek any information about any Jupiter in Hungary ? I have as much (from JCC/JOAC clubs registrar Re Jupiters) as is known about any Jupiter in Hungary but not enough as yet to be in touch with a current owner.

This car is owned by my business partner, Hungarian businessman Attila Bankuti, we are collectors. He bought this Car in December 01, 2006 in Hungary. The car came to this country in April 28, 1999. I will have to check tomorrow but to the best of my knowledge Attila bought the car from Leber & Sons or an affiliate of Leber & Sons for sure, so this matches yor records. I wanted to know how transparent is its history because the car is in such a perfect condition. We keep it in a heated showroom and do regular maintenance. Recently this Jowett won the "Most beautiful car award" of the 2008 Budapest Annual Classic Car Show.
Chassis 558R, Engine D9PA 2875

The engine has come from a Javelin TML690 once belonging to a club member .-KC

Do you know of anybody in the UK owning a LHD willing to swap it for our RHD? This way we would definitely keep a jowett sample in our collection -OV

The above email exchanges took place between me and Orlando in March 2009 after contact via jowett.org. Ed also corresponded extensively which i think you are aware of.

Unfortunately we did not get to Budapest on our Baltic tour , although we could have diverted from Poland. I was saving the visit for the Balkans tour but this had to be postponed because of the US and AUS/NZ tours. Perhaps next year....

Thanks Keith. As well this information you sent, I e-mailed Orlando Verona, this Jupiter, chassis E2 SA 558R (from correspondence of you Keith and Edmund) was sold UK 1977 to the Netherlands, went through a succession of Dutch dealers, until an owner bought it in 1983 and restored it by 1989...it then went to a dealer who sold it to Hungary in 1999, subsequent to which Orlando Varona wrote (to Edmund): "21 September 2011: 'We sold the car. It is in very good hands in Hungary and is not for sale any longer...'[and] The car is in Budapest and is the property of Mr. Attila Faragó'"...who may be still be the current owner, but I have not found contact detail for Mr. Attila Faragó, nor have I receive d a reply from Orlando Varona to the email I wrote to him.
