James (me again!): -

From the cover alone it looks to be the same as the pump on my 1930 Long Four, (original engine) BUT: -

Mine has a brass "collar" around the body about 1/4" thick that spaces the body of the pump off of the crankcase. I am not sure if this is original or might indicate a pump from a different model that has been adapted to fit.

Mine has a long shaft (about 8") attached that meshes with a drive near the top of the crankcase but that could simply be missing above the joint as shown.

Do you have any idea of the wear state internally? Grooves in the cover or significant 'backlash' in the gears?

My pump works, but a spare would be useful 'insurance'.
