Jupiter petrol pump

I changed the dynamo for an alternator because I have an electric water pump and an electric fan to get more amps but I forgot to change the petrol pump which is still positive earth so it eventually burnt out.
I looked for a negative earth SU pump but they were £115 so I tried to find something cheaper and at www.fastcars.co.uk found a Huco pump which looks like a SU pump but made entirely of plastic ,on asking Anthony the boss he told me it is a puller pump so I fitted it under the bonnet on a little bracket and it works very well , keep it away from the heat to avoid vapour locks.
With a little ingenuity two could be plumbed and wired side by side with a switch for the racing lads who seem to find electric pumps unreliable and at £47 each they are cheap enough to carry a spare
When or if the weather gets a bit warmer I will take some pictures for the blog
