Back on the market again is this heavily reworked Javelin - nice if you are into something a little different but not to everyones taste - it maintains most of the Javelin style but has a V8 fitted along with many changes in the drive train - it last changed hands about 12 months ago in the £8k - £10k region - currently on E Bay with 6 days to go and at present bid to just under £4k with the reserve not met - no doubt that the vendor is largely looking for arround the same money as what they paid for it - the car is in Gloucestershire - link pasted below

From experiance these things never handle that well, although it looked well built and thought out. From my point of view if want something that goes well, looks nice and sounds good - buy something that was designed and built to do just that !!

I agree with you, Chris, in fact the only thing 'Javelin' about it was the shape!

Yeah have to agree with Chris....Rodding is very different in NZ, UK from what I have seen is more like the bitsa type builds here in the 60s and 70s
These days with engineering certification etc the rods I have driven and ridden in handle and ride like xjs jags..along with electric windows air con sound proofing.. more like a modern merc than a vintage car.
