Spares near Dunstable

I went there on Tuesday having been contacted by Peter Holden, our Spares Officer. Most of the parts were mainly aluminium and iron oxide and I said they were of no use to JCS or myself. I left a Jav wheel in reasonable condition if somebody wants that. I did bring back a windscreen that may be OK but was heavily encrusted, two starter motors and some chrome trim.Fred Willis is a retired ex-Club member with a large amount of Javelin spares which
he would like to go to a good home, including carburettors, gearbox, windscreen wiper
motors, wheel and tyre, starter motors, windscreen, grill etc. There could be as much as
a small van load when he has finished sorting it all. He would like to see these go to the
Club or a Club member, but would appreciate some help with sorting it all out. If you
are interested in these or are able to help Fred, his details are:- Fred Willis, **************, Dunstable, "
Fred did have some stories to tell having been at Vauxhall Motors with Gerald Palmer. Gerald borrowed his spare engine which was then prettied up and used as a display item in Vauxhall Motors. Fred had a serious accident in his Javelin in the 1950s and also sold another Jav to pay for his daughter's wedding. Fred is clearing out his house and may send some paperwork to me. He remembers meeting me in the 70s but I am afraid my memory is not as good.
