Sunday 9th October 2011 – Short Section Run & Outing to Summerlea Industrial
Museum, Coatbridge. Meet at the Brewers Fayre at Newhouse (half a mile south of M8
Junction 6 – Motherwell / Airdrie turn off). We plan to meet there at 11.00am and then
drive to Summerlea. There is a lot to do and see here so a good few hours are envisaged.
Majority of exhibits are under cover. It is then planned to have a high tea at a local
restaurant. This will be our last outdoor meeting of 2011 and all details will be on Jowett
Talk and available from Drummond on 0131....... To assist with high tea
numbers can you please indicate your intention to attend.
Sunday 20th November 2011 - Scottish Section Annual General Meeting. This will
take place at the New Lanark Hotel, New Lanark starting at 3pm followed by high tea.
Please make every effort to attend this important event in our calendar where we will
shape out our 2012 programme of events
