I guess I have been catching up on my reading lately; its amazing how those papers and magazines pile up. You too?
Anyway, I stated at the bottom of the pile, and I've just come across this cutting about Jowett to build the Praga engine:
A bit later on, I came across this picture of the Wilkins/Baxter Jupiter from the 1951 Mote Carlo:
That cheered me up, but then I read this which saddened me:
