Hi!
Just wanted to show you two junked Jowett Javelin´s I found this summer here in Northern Sweden.

First one in a ravine among other cars.

Second one was next to an old forest road.

Give it a bit of elbow grease, that will polish out

What is amazing is the lack of rust, considering they may have lain there for 40 years.

Well car don´t rust much here in northern Sweden, due to little to no salt on the roads, and no salty air from any ocean.
That contribute to Sweden having the second oldest car park in Europe! Only Finland have older.

Just for the records- if you still have easy access to the wrecks it might be of interest to the Registrar to get their chassis numbers.
The Jowett brass chassis plates appear to be missing, but the number MAY also be stamped in
to the cross-member at the front / top of the engine compartment that holds the bonnet lock 'peg'.
You would probably need a bit of emery paper to clean off the rust. Oh yes, very little rust! Great!
