This is the first time I've ever appeared as a heading on a discussion group - and very embarassing it is too. Needless to say the log-in problem was resolved some months ago and hopefully this posting will eventually fade away..
Hello to the 40 people that viewed the original posting, hope to meet you one day!
Cheers
Geoff

Hello Geoff,
I'm not stalking you, I'm just on the board before beddy byes.
The man who hasn't made a mistake hasn't made anything. Don't be embarrassed. It has little to no value in this situation.

We can keep posting on the thread if you like, to make sure that your name doesn't disappear from the ranks
Sorry Geoff - welcome to the forum, and welcome to the (mostly!) wonderful world of Jowetts.
Amy.

I can , of course , delete this thread. But, as I hope you realise, it was the only way I had a hope of contacting Geoff. Luckily there was sufficient info in the registration for me to know his name. But that is not always the case as some use pseudonyms. I will, when I have time, tidy up the registration process by adding a further step that checks the address given is valid. Currently it relies on the sense of the person to try again if they do not get a confirmation email. Since email can be sporadic any system is going to loose a few. Not that many deliberately do not give a valid address as theyare trying to spam. These I check out personally; because you never know if there really is somebody in Roumania or Russia interested in Jowetts.
