Second Hand Javelin Spares (JCS)

Post by PAUL BEAUMONT »

I have spent part of the last 2 Saturdays assisting the dedicated team at Jowett Spares relocate from Keighley to Bradford. I have lost count of how many Bonnets, doors, radiator grills etc we have manhandled into the loft at the new premises, which sent this thought through my little grey cells:-
I suspect that there are members out there repairing bonnets doors etc when JCS have second hand parts which are better than yours just gathering dust and taking up space. Before you commence on knocking a dent out of a bonnet, and getting crafty with filler and stopper etc, a call to the JCS team might just save you some work!
Go on - give it a try!!

I don't suppose you saw a pair of decent pre-war spoked wheels, Paul?

I'm afraid that there wasn't a lot of time for logging, we were struggling to see the wood for the trees most of the time!
It will take a little while for everything to settle down, but full marks to the team, JCS functioned more or less normally tonight - from the new premises.
If you have requirements a call Monday night to the team is the best answer - regret I handles so many things that memory fails as to exactly what was there.
