Message: Hi I am contacting you as i have a 1930 black prince two door fabric saloon which was found in a complete but tatty condition in the late 1970 It was purchased by me and my father to restore the car was dismantled Chassis sand blasted and powder coated and front axle fitted with new bushes and shackle pins.After moving house several times and bringing up two children my father passing away.
I thought that i would one day have time to finish the car. But i now realise that this will never happen and I would like to sell the car.I am starting with your club as I feel that there maybe some one who would be interested .
The car in pieces can be viewed near Woking in surrey.

Your interest in the forum: From 1962 to '63, CA Bradord LLG 125 (Repaired and used).
From 1966 to '67 Black deLuxe Javelin LDF 738 (Scrapped with broken chassis)
From 1967 to '87 Black de Luxe Javelin MKC 1 (later 6469TU). (Sold as non-runner with tons of spares, 1987)
From about 1980 to '87 ex WD Jowett stationary engine. (Sold on)
From 1966 to present, 1930 Long Four Fabric Saloon, Dark Blue / Black.
Taken in a part-repaired state to the 2010 Centenary Rally, returned to a roadworthy state by 2013.

This looks to be a most interesting car. I also have a 1930 Fabric Saloon, in my case (was) dark blue fabric (currently being re-skinned after 12 year 'repair' programme).

This is one of only about ten 1930 cars known and yours seems to me (others will probably know better!) that it might be a Grey Knight (pale grey fabric and wire wheels). Two door versions are even rarer.

Sadly vintage saloons are not particularly valuable - even the rare ones - but they are very interesting nonetheless.
