You don't have to bring the car if it's not quite ready - you're welcome to jump on a plane to Luton or Heathrow and travel up with us - we've got more cars than we know what to do with now, and can certainly get you there and back between us.

Hello Peter

So have you now told your wife about "the other woman"? Or is that why you now want two weeks to "explain" to her?

I do hope you both come.
Compliments of the Season,

If you do not have the Javelin on the road. That does not matter. Come in the modern, or by plane, we can get things sorted over here to help as necessary. Of course you know that there is another Javelin owner in Switzerland. You could all come together

Peter, we're about 15 mins from Luton airport, we should be able to meet you at the airport in a Javelin :) Warning, if you are here early you may need to bring overalls - previous rally visitors from the US were handed spanners on arrival to get the SC to Wakefield. Hoping we don't have any projects pending for May, because we've not started anything else yet!

That is also a great reminder for us to get our paperwork to the rally organisers, I'd better get on with learning to read (hopefully Mr Ainge can help me with it tomorrow evening at the Axe and Compass!)

I think that a car club for cars made in Yorkshire can definitely provide some yorkshire puddings! (If you remind me before you come over I can make some for dinner when you arrive :))

Originally coming from the darkest depths of Yorkshire (they do not call me the 'Grumpy Northener' for nothing) - I hold claim to one of the finest Yorkshire Pudding recipies in the world - passed on to me by previous family generations. When I was a still at home - Mother would batch this - in a kitchen that formed a production line in huge tins - fantastic stuff. Peter should you get here - I will bake it myself for you.

You should tell her about the only possible upgrade to yorkshire puddings - toad in the hole :) Mmmmmmmm. Sausages.

Look forward to meeting you, keep us posted if you want/need lifts to and from Luton. This year's rally is due to be a much more relaxed affair for us than last year.
