It would be interesting to know whether the only Godfrey Jowett still has aluminium heads - where are you Ian??!!

I have just been browsing, hence this very belated comment on the above post !

The Godfrey 'Special Sports Tourer' ('34 7 HP with E J Newn's 'Eagle Coachworks body (mistakenly referred to in the '60's as the 'Weasel Prototype') did indeed have alloy heads - this fact is referred to in the Road Test article in The Light Car in March '34 - and I still have one of them which came in a box of spares that came with the car when I bought it in 2006.

I would very much like to refit them if I can ever get hold of another.
