That's it! The engine illustrated on eBay is almost exactly like the one I had. Main difference seems to be the arrangement for supporting the pulleys and the associated bearings.
The vendor says there is quite a bit of 'history' goes with it. I wonder if this could shed light on its exact origins? (I do not want to buy another one - or even two! I have quite enough on my 'plate' with the 'Project').
