DVLA targets engine changes
The UK Licensing Authority is planning to check all engine numbers and require that for any change the owner must show correct provenance for the replacement. This is to try to stop stealing engines and fitting modified units. Now where did I find that engine in 1970, oh it was some barn in Devon. Have I a sales receipt? Of course .....
