Just thought, if you purchase it or pass a newsagent's, that you might like to see the lovely photo of John and Di's Golden Sand Javelin, RPE 678, on page 30 of the December 2010 issue of Practical Classics! John and Di were at the Llandrindod Wells Victorian Weekend and John took the photo as the car was being inspected by Queen Victoria. I think, by her inscrutable smile, that the car must have passed with flying colours!
Jowetteer's will realise that Llandrindod Wells is the venue for our 2012 National Rally, although I suspect Queen Victoria only attends the annual Victorian Weekend in late August!

In the SC stable in Kings Langley we have indeed spotted it - I have it here waiting to be scanned in fact so that non-UK members can see it. It's a lovely picture isn't it? I know the same is on the front of this month's Jowetteer but it does look rather splendid in full-page colour
