These products have been used in Hot Rodding for heat, engine/body vibration and sound deading for several decades.
Be very careful when choosing the product and brand for your particular use...they are not cheap.

When the correct grade is used in the correct places and installed correctly, the amount of cabin vibration , heat and noise is very dramatic.

Zicrotec - treated the manifolds of my V8 Rover earlier this year - proir to this the car suffered extensive fuel vapour problems with the twin SU carbs in the centre uppermost position of the engine bay - like Keith states it is not cheap (close to £400 for the 2 manifolds to be treated) - but is has transformed the car by reducing the under bonnet temp in excess of 30%.
