From a recent ebay posting, I find that PASSEY & PORTER Winterstoke Rd, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 3YE 01934 682291, who are currently Ford dealers, appear to have once been Jowett dealers.
Is this 'news' and is it of any interest to members in the area?
Are there any consolidated details of one-time Jowett dealers?

You never know; a ferret in some cellars or old cupboards may unearth some long lost spares. Certainly in the 1960s and 70s it was a realistic hope. I managed to find a mechanic who worked in the County Garage, Barnstaple which had been the Jowett agents and consequently acquired parts from a dozen Javelins.
Also went around Thomas's in Bedford with Ian Dearie and found some spares still left after the mass dumping some years earlier.
Sadly the oppurtunity has not presented itself in the 80s, 90s or the new millenia.
