Hi. Peter and welcome to the Jowett family from Yorkshire England - where your Javelin was born! Is this the car that has been advertised on Ebay??
Do you know Dr Luder? He is a Jowett enthusiast in Switzerland

Hello Peter,

You are having problems with your Lady wife. Chocolates, flowers taking her to places she wants to go doing those silly little jobs around the house all will help to soften the blow when she finally see's her competition.

To encourage you, I have had my Jupiter on the road for almost exactly 3 years and my wife came out in it with me for the first time on Friday. :D

She is frightened because it has no seat belts and she gets cold easily, but be encouraged the Ladies can be brought round using our masculine charms (and a bit of give and take).
Compliments of the Season,

Alastair Gregg

Yorkshire puddings versus chocolate!

Post by Alastair Gregg »

Hello Peter

Wonderful though Yorkshire puddings are, I suspect the Chocolates would be more likely to bring your wife round to thinking sensibly.

If the Chocolates fail bring on Yorkshires finest cuisine!!

Hi Peter,

Many thanks for the photos. She looks a beauty!!...I bet you are pleased! Have you had her running yet?

We look forward to hearing more as you work on her. It looks as though the switches have suffered from the sun(?) and we may be able to find you some here in the UK, where we don't have quite so much much sunshine!

Yes, the clutch cover looks to be missing, as is the cast tool tray. By the way, I have one of these, if you need one?

All the best,

David
